Finally our vision to go to India on a Missionary Trip came forth. It was born five years ago and since that time we’ve been praying and looking for God’s will and timing for us to go.

Initially we had 10 people from our church with a desire to go but for these five years only three of us could afford the trip and understand that it’s a will of God for them. Sister Elena Kirsanova and brother Sergey Timoshin took their big step of faith to join me in this trip. It was their first flight they ever took and a first international trip as well.

We were tremendously blessed by God during this trip beyond our expectations. Country, people, nature, churches, and music had left in our hearts lots of great impressions!

We were working with New Life Fellowship churches trough pastor Johnson Samuel whose ministry we support during three years.

A hunger after God in people’s heart and their desire to serve Him had inspired us tremendously. Our faith was strengthened when we saw miracles during our ministry in that wonderful country…

MIRACLES AND WONDERS

“The apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders among the people...” - Acts 5:12.

We’ve experienced exactly the same things as it is written in this scripture. God performed lots of healings and miracles among the local people while we were ministering to them. We realized one more time that when the Word is preached miracles and wonders accompany the believers as Jesus said.

We felt His hand upon us the whole trip. Hundreds of people got healed and delivered from evil spirits. People were healed from blindness, bad hearing, back pains, headaches, neck and teeth pains. Different kinds of diseases were healed, not working arms began to function! Tumors were gone.

Almost every day there was something happening from God and we were praising Him during the whole trip keeping being surprised and astonished.

We were also amazed by faith people had for their healing. Besides healing needs there were a lot of spiritual needs. A lot of women approached us with a spirit of fear and depression.

Everyone was involved

This trip showed to my team that God can use anyone who has faith in serving to people worldwide. Sergey and Elena were busy praying for people almost every day. During one Sunday service we prayed for more than 500 people. It took altogether more than three hours. Sergey was so exhausted that on the way from Mumbai to Varanasi he slept on the train for 24 hours!

Our time spent with God in prayer and fasting brought us to a new level. We believe this trip will not be the last for our church. Our next plan to visit India is in the year of 2007.

 Varanasi is the heart of Buddhism

Varanasi is an old city and the center of Buddhism. This is the place where Buddha spoke his first sermon. This city is a  place where pilgrims come every year from everywhere to worship Buddha, Shiva, Vishnu and other gentile gods. It’s a place where Hinduism is very strong and influential.

In spite of all these strongholds local churches bring the light of Jesus to the darkened hearts of their people. For the last

decade Christianity grew up so rapidly that local Hindu leaders began to ring the alarm bells. They try to do their best to stop Christians but God is doing the opposite.

Our church supports the construction project of a Studying Center in Varanasi. We brought some funds with us to be a blessing to these people not only in the word of mouth and prayers but also in a physical help.

The children on the right picture are taken care of by the NLF church in Mumbai. We could not resist our desire to bless the with candies. There are three groups of different age children with 60 of them in each group.

Future plans

We have already planned our next trip to India in the year of 2007 if God will allow us. This passed trip also proved us that whenever any man has his heart open to fulfill God's will in preaching the Gospel he will be used and sent anywhere on this planet.
