Church Planting

We have a great desire to plant churches, and one such plant has been on our heart for several months. Recently I met a young Christian couple, Bro. Alexei Trubitsyn and his wife Marina.  After meeting with them, I found a great passion in their hearts to see people saved in their small city of Izmalkovo.  It is located in Lipetsk region, which is about 120 miles south of Tula. Alexei and Marina both studied in a Bible School in the city of Irkutsk, Siberia. They returned back home from their studies a couple of years ago, and now they want to open their house for a home group. It will be the beginning of a new church plant in their area.

We plan to start a new Church by showing special video materials from DCC (Drug Control Committees). This will be a start to get them involved in sharing the Good News with drug addicts and alcoholics. Another idea we also have is to show the 'Jesus' film at that time.

Please be praying for us during this time. Izmalkovo is one of thousands of small Russian cities were people desperately need Jesus! Thousands of young Russian people are dying from drugs and alcohol.  The worst part is that the are dying without any knowledge of Christ.
